Trouble Shooting:
If the following window does not generate you may not have turned off your Confirmed Opt-in feature. To do this follow the following steps:
A Double Confirmed Opt-in is a a 2 step process to validate emails. For example, if you sign up to be on a mailing list, Awebber will send them a confirmation email confirming the user that they would indeed like to be added to the businesses email contact list. Most of the time these Double Confirmed Opt-in emails end up in the spam folder and the contact will not be added to your Awebber list.
To Turn off the Confirmed Opt-in feature follow the steps below:
1. Call AWeber's toll free line at 1-877-293-2371.
2. Tell the representative that you would like to turn off your Confirmed Opt-in (Double Opt-In) on AWeber.
3. Tell them that you are using a third party integration and you need the double confirmed opt in turned off.
4.They will ask for your username, the integration you are working with which is QuizFunnels
5. Lastly the representative will ask you which specific list you would like to turn it off on. Make sure the list you have turned off is the same list picked in QuizFunnels under Configure -->Segment.
Setting up Segmentation in Aweber:
Let's say you have a quiz called "Are you Resting Enough Quiz?" which has three possible outcomes; " High- Enough Sleep", " Medium- Almost Enough Sleep", and " Low- Need More Sleep". You will need to create tags for each of these outcomes so that your leads can be grouped. Here is how:
- Log into your account and click on "Manage Lists" in the top-right corner:
- In the top-right of the page click "Create A List":
- Complete the first step by filling in your info:
- Enter a name for the list that corresponds to your outcome:
If your outcomes are the following:
- "High- Enough Sleep"
- "Medium- Almost Enough Sleep"
- "Low- Need More Sleep"
You might make lists like these - Low , Medium, High :
It is also a good idea to use a common prefix for each list so you know they are associated with the same quiz campaign
- Create a list for each of your outcomes and one for all of your quiz takers:
