How To Find Your MailChimp Username:
1. Log into your MailChimp account. To connect your MailChimp account to QuizFunnels enter your MailChimp username. Your MailChimp username is what you use to log into your account. If you do not know your Username you can follow the process below.
2. Select the drop down menu under your name and click Account.
3. Select Settings
4. Select Contact Information and your username will appear below.
Using a company MailChimp account that you are an admin of? Follow the steps below to your username.
1. Log into your MailChimp account.
2. Click the drop down arrow in the top right hand corner. Select "Profile" from the drop down.
3. Under "Username" you will find your username for your account. Note this may be different then the company username, but this is the correct username to use.
To Find Your MailChimp API:
You can create a custom API for QuizFunnels or use an old one.
1. To find your API Key select the drop down menu under your name and click Account.
2. Go to Extras and select API Keys
3. Your current API Keys will show below, simply copy and paste the API Key into QuizFunnels or select Create a Key to make a new custom API Key for QuizFunnels.
Setting up Segmentation in MailChimp:
Let's say you have a quiz called " Are you Resting Enough Quiz?" which has three possible outcomes; " High- Enough Sleep", " Medium- Almost Enough Sleep", and "Low- Need More Sleep". You will need to create lists for each of these outcomes so that your leads can be grouped. Here is how:
- Sign into your account and select "Lists":
- Now click the "Create List" button:
- And confirm, "Create List":
Give your list a name:
Here is an example list for
the " Are you Resting Enough Quiz " outcome in the
example quiz. It is a good idea to give your lists a common prefix so you know
they are all from the same quiz cam
Now repeat these steps for your other two outcomes
DONT FORGET to create one more list for all quiz takers
Remember to use lists that you can associate with each outcome!
Once you have created those lists you are now able to return to QuizFunnels and assign them to your quiz outcomes!

A NOTE ABOUT MAILCHIMP FIELDS
Mailchimp does not automatically create a field for the phone number capture. In order to capture phone numbers you must create custom fields in your lists with specific *MERGE* values. This is also the case if you want to collect quiz results directly.
You can accomplish this by following the instructions below:
- Navigate to your list in MailChimp
- Select the option named "List fields and *|MERGE|* tags"
- This will add a row to your fields, you can give your phone number field any name you like but the value you enter into the other input must be " PHONE "
If you would like to collect quiz result info as well you can add another field for this. Start by adding another field, this time with a field type of "Text". In order for this field to work correctly you must set the middle input value to "QUIZRESULT".
